about
‘Crisis,’ and it’s iso-video (available on Youtube), were recorded amidst Victoria’s stage 4 lock-downs which meant we were not even once all together in the same room. Thanks to the modern technologies and conveniences we often take for granted, we are able to continue to do what we love and that is write, create and perform (even if only in the virtual sense). Everything has been DIY, except the mix for which we thank Daniel Antix & Def Wolf Studios for making it sound big and rad!
lyrics
Pay no attention ignore this
business as usual forget
the state of affairs so dire and yet
we're too busy to even seem to care
Now there's something in the way
if the dollar can dictate every action we're insane
the price that we pay
is this existential crisis that we face
Best you keep up this consumption
wanting the things you don't need
is all this worth a lifeless earth
where in the world will we turn
with no Planet B
Now there's something in the way
if the dollar can dictate every action we're insane
the price that we pay
is this existential crisis that we face
In the name of thriving economies
seven billion people living like disease
